The satellites don't seem very good...1500 starting chips at 25-50 blinds? Looks like a crapshoot to me. Was definitely hoping they'd be better.

If you make it to day 2 for $1000 event.
You Can NOT play Super satellite for $2500 event. It over laps. horrible.

I wouldn't mind hosting some equity satellites for the $1000 (10 player $100), if there was interest in something like that.

Called and they said 600. Crosschecked last results, 1k was sellout at 600.

2.5k prob hold the same, BCPC 3k had 470, so thinking 600 is safe.

No hope in hell 5k caps, looks like 186ish last time as compared to BCPC's 80

If they have room for 300, they are safe

ill def be playing all of these! when should I register for the 1k to make sure i dont miss out. Can you register over the phone or anything? didnt read whole thread so if already answered my bad

Pretty sure you can do it over the phone with your credit card but it will come out as a cash advance and you will most likely get dinged the credit card interest rate for cash advances.

just put the money on your card before you pay (i.e. have a credit balance on the credit card) and this will avoid the interest charges.

Pretty sure that's not true, at least for TD Visa. I had actually asked about it at my branch but I never actually tried it. They told me that the cash advance fee is added automatically... This was about a year ago.

BTP...just walk over to the fireplace, peel off a G from the extra bricks your burning, tell get them to warm up the G4 and go pay cash...

Actually, grab the whole brick and buy out all the tickets, sats in particular and sell at a premium. +EV decision. Easy game.

You poker divas always gotta make things so difficult ;p.

When somebody starts playing the Fallsview satellites, please post. Hopefully, they will finally have learned on how to run the satellites better compared to the five previous years where 10+ players and a dealer would wait the entire day just for the first satellite to start, then later another hour of waiting in the next satellite table to deal the first card.

Satellite regulars who paid a lot of rake the previous year couldn't be bothered to grind the next year with so much time wasted. If only Fallsview could learn how to run satellites efficiently like the Rio and Venetian.
