Just so you know I believe it is wrong that they will not allow the charity casinos no limit, it is taking away half of our market. Do not get me wrong I am continuing the fight for it.

Hope this answers your question.
Why are the buyins dropping next year?

I assume they don't sell out? Think the woman's tournament has been lowered to less players to avoid guys entering.

Not to mention the caliber of play has not improved over 5 years....which is probably the reason it sells out every month.

Hi all

The reason for the low buy ins has nothing to do with how many player are coming out, since the tournaments sell out. It has to do with a series of events that have not been released yet. That will fill in the first five months of tournaments. If you look closely at the schedule you will see that the buy ins go up after June.

With the ladies tournaments it just does not get the turn out I would like to see.

Can anybody confirm that this no-limit-with-a-$100-limit game runs regularly at GBH? If so, I may try to carpool for the GBH Island Poker Series Mega Satellites and Main Event.

YRPL was planning on holding satellite events to the GBH $500 and $1k upcoming tournaments in June. Instead, they are running $1k tournaments on April 15th and May 25th where the top prizes consist of $1k each. If they get the usual 100 runners (as they do usually), they will likely give away 7-10 $1k prizes each night. See meetup.com for more details on structure, etc.
