I played last Tuesday and they tell me they sell out early all the time.

These are turbo tournaments and the structure is quick. They are well run.

The big thing I noticed was the skip a few blind levels and you can get short stacked very quickly.

Thanks for the reply, did you show up early or call in advance to hold a seat?

I got some time off in the next 2 weeks, thinking of playing just for fun, I'd like to play the big Wed one but don't think I'll be off.

For the 7PM one you need to be around 4 PM to pretty much garrantee your spot. No call in is availible for this.

If you know someone that is there already they can buy your seat and they will hold it at customer service until you show up with ID.

You can also only buy-in the day of the tournament....Im no expert on this but this is what I am told by others.

Hey Dead Money

Thanks for keeping everyone informed as to how the tournaments are going. The turbo sales open at 8:30 am for both tournaments. The 1pm usually sells out at noon and the 7pm sells out at around 4:30pm. Each week these tournaments are selling out earlier and earlier.

the 1pm tournament has a starting stack of 5000 and takes easy 4 hour and the 7pm with its 8000 takes about 5 hours.

Hope to see you all soon.

Do not forget to check out the GBH Island Poker Series starting in January.

Sorry Luckystrike for the turbo you must buy at the casino. For all other tournaments it is either at the casino or online at www.pokertickets.com . We stopped taking credit card numbers over the phone to make the transactions more secure.
