Might as well stay home and play online.
At least with a real dealer you have time between hands to chat. Not to mention chips and cards.

ya thats weird how they dident get atleast 1 real table instead of 25 electronic ones i have a hard time that they will do well people would much rather play live thats the whole point of going to a casino if they wanna play online they can stay at home o go to the casino and play with there wirless connection lol. but i would like to see A HUGE electronic tourny with like 25 tables that would be cool, not a cash game how boring would that be. I PLAYED that electronic poker once in turningstone it took all day to fill 10 spots.

The girlfriend and I went to Lac Leamy last night. Arrived about 5:30, got seated at 7. (poor sob's that arrived any later, as the wait was over 5 hours).
Got a free hat and t-shirt - woohoo! Free finger foods and red bull all night long - all served by some of the hottest waitresses I have ever seen in a casino (except Borgata) - much nicer than those at...say...anywhere in Ontario. Nice cool atmosphere too, with a big bar right in the room - joie de vivre baby!
I was very sceptical about the electronic tables, but I have to admit that it was okay. 10% rake to max 5$. The french is a pita but you adapt. (e.g. "suit" means "call" in french). Phil Laak was supposed to show up but perhaps Jennifer was a little hard on him last night.
Of course, the play was all over the map: some true ATMs, some "tricky" slowplay artists (actually easy to read: call means strong), no lags at my table though.
It was a good experience and I will be back many times. The pent up demand in this area will keep it full for a long time. Can't wait until it slows down a bit. Then the gamblers, who won't wait for 4 hours, will begin to saunter in from the pits & slots.

Here's a pic....I'd say they look like they should be on the USS Enterprise, but we've all seen the shitty poker stuff they played with.

I'll be in Ottawa next week... what games were they spreading? Particularly mid-stakes limit hold'em ($20/$40 and up) and SNG's $200 and up.

They had a 20/40 game going. They also started up a 10/20 NL while I was there. They were running some $100+$15 sitngos, but I heard they were bingo fests.

Reason is dealers don't want to take a pay cut to deal poker. It's a union issue.

Going to the 3rd Annual FullTilt Poker Montreal Open around March 30 - April 2 would be an option. Quote:
