I have used this table on various cruise ships. It works well. I liked it.

Is verbal binding at these tables?
How are they different from table live poker?

When I played them (PokerTek) in Vegas a few years ago, verbal didn't matter since there was no dealer. Similar to online cept you get to see and talk to the other players.

I've played on a cruise as well. Keeps the action going but the rake was pretty brutal.

Has anyone tried the virtual tables in Ontario? I read about it a bit but not tried it yet. Says you see your cards when you put your hand over your cards on your screen, is there a chance to show your cards by accident? Also how do you buy in?

I played on one in Quebec and Detroit casinos. I much prefer real cards and a dealer. I don't think other players can see your hole cards because you have to cup your hands over the glass.

Watch for collusion on these things since there is no dealer. Tried it in Vegas a couple years ago when the Excalibur had them and it wasn't bad. Weird to get used to, but I was drunk every time I played on them. I felt like it was easier to read people for some reason compared to playing with cards. Won about 6 bills playing 1-2.

I have played 2 sessions of 1/2 nl. I haven't noticed any collusion and there seems to be the regular mix of players. The RNG software seems to be pretty good, I have only really seen one bad beat. I love the fact that I will no longer have to drive to Brantford or Pt Edward to get my poker fix. They are adding a 3rd table and I wouldn't be surprised that they have as many as 6 tables by the end of the world...er I mean the end of 2012.

They will be at Woodbine. No idea when, though . . .
