I just got the idea of doing a B&M version of the "Who's online (playing) right now?" thread.

We can use this to meet with other members who happen to be at the same place and time as each other at which ever casino.

I'll guess I'll kick it off:
My next session at the Brantford Casino will be tomorrow around 5:00-6:00pm until who knows when.

I'll be at Casino Niagara playing 1-2NL from about midnight tonight till close (4am). Tomorrow may play again all day. Tall, skinny guy with glasses, always wearing a black jacket.

Quick question, how old do you have to be to go to casinos, 18 or 19?

In Ontario, 19.

Generally, the legal drinking age in a provice determines the legal age for casino entry. No part of the Criminal Code (to my knowledge) specifies a minimum legal age for gambling.

i thought the legal gambling age was 18 in ontario, im only 20, but i always had to be 18 to buy scratch n win tickets and prolines as well when i was younger...they always carded me to buy prolines as a 18 year old...is was awful!

There are age restrictions (18 in Ontario) when it comes to selling lottery tickets (or similar) as agents of the OLGC.

As far as I know, there is no legal age limit for gambling in general specified in the Criminal Code, or (apart from OLGC products) in Ontario law.

Well, if theres no official legal age for gambling why am I not allowed in casinos? The only thing that I can think of is that its because they serve alcohol at the bars, but I can go into any bar in Toronto and theres no problem as long as I order something besides booze.
