Poker Rules Question

Scenario -- Live Cash Game

All fold to the Dealer.
Dealer makes standard raise.
Small blind -- who is the small stack at the table -- shoves about five times the standard raise.
Big Blind calls small blind's shove with a large stack behind him.
Dealer calls also with a a large stack.

After the flop, small blind is all in and action goes to the BB.
BB says to the Dealer -- "Do you want to just check down the rest of the hand?"

Question 1: Is the BB's hand dead for trying to collude with another player?

Dealer does not answer.

But both Dealer and BB check flop and turn.
On the river BB makes a set giving him the nuts.
Both BB and Dealer Check. BB wins the pot with a set of kings. Dealer does not show.

Question 2: Is either the BB or Dealer's hand now dead for collusion.

I Believe that is up to casino's rulings, i play live cash all the time and this very situation has occured numerous times and at the casino i play at there has never been a penalty or any sort of disipline, but every casino is different i would say you would ahve to check with the house rules

An "all in" player is still a LIVE player. So, three live hands means no talking about future action. BB gets a warning (that is also addressed to the whole table) and the hand plays out UNLESS someone else breaks the rule.

+1 ^^^ This in most Vegas or AC casino's as well. Hands are all live but warning should be given.
