it generally means they are strong or have a strong draw. but it could mean anything. its not a specific tell and knowing that is important i think.

A: They're bad players

B: Given the way this hand has gone, it could mean they have a monster (as you seem to believe), and here I'm inclined to agree. Sometimes however they just want to see if their 99 is good, so I re-raise.

Mark

P.S. - he didn't min-reraise

4.40s are full of donks and fish. No need to bet out so big, the pot was only 260 i believe, 240 will get the same result as say 190. tough to get an actual read on people in these low tourneys on ps. Ive seen some crazy shit in those, and JJ is likely to be good most of the time here. He may even have a hand like 66. But like drtyore said it is more likely that he is seeing if his 88 or 99 is good.

It means he is standing outside your house to disrupt your internet connection so that you time out and fold. WTF? It's lvl 1 of a $4.40. I donk this and double through his A7 or play again when he shows 46o.

It could mean:

he expects you to cbet most any flop and is making a play back at you;

he has either a strong hand or draw and is building the pot in case he hits; or

he hit a pair, figured you raised with like Ak or something as that is the only hand people raise now and is check raising to show you he has a pair, which I would probably jam over the top of.

But I am a fish, so what do I know.
