Anyone play here? If you don't, it's a good thing. Signed up for a promo and ended up making a lot of money on the site. Only problem is their cashout. What a joke. Even though I used Neteller to fund the account, they won't just cash out to my neteller accout. I have to fax them my ID, bills with my address and my banking Info. I almost flipped on them. My banking info...what the $##%. I'm not trusting them with my banking info. Then i have to fill out, what is basically a withdrawl application and fax that to them too. And nothing is working out because my ID address doesn't match my current address. Golden palace is now officially on my very long revenge list.
The only support you get is live internet chat and it's brutal.
Finding a table is not the easiest thing in the world either.
The only good thing is all the money I made but what good is that if they won't give it to me!! lol
Basically this is me bitching about the site, but I hope I can sway other people away from Golden Palace.

That is standard casino withdraw information. They are trying to verify that 1) You are who you say you are and 2) You live at your registered address. You usually can substitute bank account information for another piece of mail that gets delivered.

And if anyone followed your 'sway', they'd be missing out on casino bonuses that are worth thousands of dollars. Not reallly helping much.

Thousands of dollars? Are you exaggerating or are thier bonuses really that good. It doesn't seem right that they make you jump through that many hoops to get your money but will, most likely, let you deposit money without any trouble. Can you just imagine the interest they are making off all of the money they have in thier holding accounts. I'm sure a bunch of people would just say screw it to cashing out if they had to do everything that OSkid said they have to do, especially if it were a small amount of money. Thanks for the heads up OSkid.

I've never had to fax a poker site any of that information to cash out, to the best of my recollection.

Here's my one good deed I'll do for the year..

Casino Whores

I've made over 4 grand just from casinos in about 3 months. Lower risk and higher per hour payoffs than micro limit poker. And thats without hitting up big guns like Golden Palace or Carnival.

Once again OSKid, it's standard procedures for Golden Palace.

Update: I'm feeling more generous. Just go to www.888.com and do their sign up bonus. $200 in, $200 bonus playing blackjack with $2000 of required playthrough. It's worth about $175 in EV. Check out the wizard of odds for proper basic strategy charts.

I'm not trying to sway anyone away from bonus whoring....I'm doing it myself and like you I am making thousands. But I am trying to sway people away from this site. And it may be their standard procedure but there is no mention of it on there website, the only thing I recall seeing is "fast and easy withdrawls" lol. This is the only bad experience I've had out of dozens of casinos.
But if someone was dumping there whole bankroll into this site, they would be handcuffed for a while with this B.S.
Basically I was just trying to warn people of the potential problems they may encounter at this site.
I've actually seen you a few times playing at different sites BBZ. Good luck with your future whoreing

Their phone support is based out of T.O. Friendly service. When I emailed in my scanned bank info I just blacked out everything they don't need. All they really want is the header with your address on it, no biggie.

On a slight tangent, why in the world would an online poker site make either deposits or cashouts even remotely annoying to it's players? Keeping their players happy and playing regularly at their site is the core of their profitability.

Here's an example. InterPoker charges a $1 fee for a Neteller cashout. I will not play on that site. Why? There are many other online poker sites that I'm happy to play at (plenty with deposit bonuses, rake back programs, etc) that that charge me $0 for a Neteller cashout.

Basically, by creating a barrier to my cashout/deposit that is not present at other sites, they lose me as a rake paying customer entirely. Smart move.

Recently Party & Stars (and possibly other sites I don't know about) have moved to "high speed" Neteller cashouts. Smart move. Essentially they are creating a new deposit/cashout barrier on other sites where Neteller cashouts still take a couple of days.

[Hint: Exactly one of my "smart move" statements is sarcasm.]

It's a mentality thing. Casinos group that open poker rooms will usually stick to the casino policies and procedures.. Look at pacific poker's bonus structure.. You have to wager X dollars before you clear your bonus.. Exact same terms as the casino.. They get this way because

1) They offer bonuses where they directly lose money. When you win at a casino, the casino loses. When you win at a pokerroom, another player loses. When the pokerroom gives you a bonus, its really only losing a small % of that in lost rake.

2) The goal of any casino is to get your money and keep it forever so you will gamble it away. Notice
that deposits don't require an ID?

As for the pokerroom's cashout speedups.. I'd bet neteller changed their policies and procedures for thier best customers.. It used to be that neteller would only give the money to the rooms after 3-5 months..

Update:At interpoker, You can reduce that $1 cost to one cent if you withdraw $XXX.01 because they round up withdraws to the nearest dollar.
