I don't think the gov't gives them any special rights regarding drinking. If that's the case, don't stereotype them as drunks. Are you imposing your own stereotype of natives or is it a fact that they're legally allowed to smuggle drugs?

The reason our gov't gives natives some special rights is because they've been treated like crap from the beginning until more recent history.

PS I'm not 'native' in that sense. I am Cdn born though.
