in a low limit holdem game with 9 players...are the following hands worth while to play:

1. J :club: 9 :club:

2. K :heart: 10 :heart:

3. K :heart: 10 :spade:

4. 10 :spade: 9 :diamond:

5. Q :heart: J :heart:

6. 8 :spade: 8 :club:

7. A :spade: J :diamond:
















i'm thinking hands #1 to 4 could be trashed
hands #5 to 7 are worth while

am i wrong?

I like your chart... personally with my style of play I would trash

1 - J :club: 9 :club:
3 - K :heart: 10 :spade:
4 - 10 :spade: 9 :diamond:

and the rest are keepers, so yeah I pretty much agree with you trashing 1 thru 4 however I would keep number 2 for the reasons of a possible nut flush if an Ace :heart: shows up on the board as well as straight possibilities... and maybe even 2 pair.

Just my 2 cents though.

I'd play all but 3 & 4 in a typical LPLLHE game.

Of the playable hands, I think 5,6,7 are quite a bit stronger than 1 & 2.

Play em all CO. Even 109 in late position. Of course this depends on what kind of LLHE you are playing, Limit or No limit, tight or loose. I stay away from 109 in NLH but would play it in LP in Limit hold em.
