| Question about pokercharts and satellite tourneys
If I busted out of the target tournament, I would count these separately as a win of +$29.70 then a loss of -$33.00 in my record keeping.
Note that the net P/L is the same either way you do it. So if this is the only statistic you're interested in tracking, it doesn't matter which method you use.
Your per tournament variance is measured correctly by counting the wins and losses separately, and is grossly underestimated by netting the two results.
