Re: Tell when I should of folded in the first hand, then when in the next hand

I would've probably let go of the first hand after the flop reraise, or even if you call that, I would've let go of it on the turn.

As far as the second hand goes, I would've probably lost my money and my shirt with an overpair.

with the overpair, I prob could not have gotten away. The A on the flop in the other hand, you have to let thatone go

Firing on the flop isn't bad in the first one, but, I would have folded to the re-raise.

Second one, I'd have lost it all.

Tough to release on both, just be glad on the second one that you were playing limit, at least you would have had a chance to stay alive if you had a bigger stack. Anyone goes broke there in NL.

Re: Tell when I should of folded in the first hand, then when in the next hand

It depends on a read. A lot of the players in these low buy-in limit touyrneys aren't at all tricky (actually fairly passive) , so assuming that I think she has to have an ace in the first hand though I'd probably still call the flop just in case and give up on the turn. 2nd is tough because you have so few chips. I dont get away from it when I'm that short but again I think her cap preflop is huge strength and when you bet into her on the flop anyways and she raises you're probably dead, assuming she is straightfrward/predictable. If she's tricky then you're just gonna have to lose a lot of chips calling down. (I busted around 20th btw)

Re: Tell when I should of folded in the first hand, then when in the next hand

The thing of it is that in Limit she can't take all your chips in the first hand, and in my opinion you have correct pot odds to call the turn bet.
Looking at it with the benefit of hindsight I think you could only have saved $400 here by not calling the river.

In the second hand, I would still get all my money in, but in a slightly different manner.
Her UTG raise indicates a good hand and with you being in the BB with JJ, there's no point raising preflop, you're already heads up.

On the flop bet out then 3 bet then call her cap, on the turn bet out and call her raise for your last 135

same result, different path

Ps...even if I still had the $400 saved from the first hand, I likely spend it all on the second hand
