Tips for Heads up play

Hey all first just wanted to say the new site rocks!!! Great job Sloth!

My question here is does anyone have any sites or info or tips on how to play heads up at the end of S'n'Gs or MTT's. Any feedback would be much appreciated.

Never fold from sb.

Mix up your play a lot. ie limp your good cards just as often as you raise.

Be aggressive. Raise 50% of the time. Cards don't matter.

I like to try and take flops as much as possible. I hardly ever fold my SB and will tend to call a 2x to 3x the BB raise with almost any two cards.

If I like my hand as the BB I always raise too. Here are a few hands from a SnG I played earlier today.

Well played, but I do fold the odd SB from time to time. I find that calling every one also makes my opponent call every one. If I fold the odd one or two early it looks like it's ok to fold. Then when they start doing it back I know it's time to put the screws on. Especially if the stacks are deep and the blinds are proportionally small.

Raising in Heads Up is the key. You will find a lot of players in the BB will fold to any raise. They are still playing like it is 6 players and don't realize that the hand selection can be much wider.

On the flop I typically find that if it is checked to me a reasonable bet will win the pot, however, if I am re-raised I think about it more. Although a re-re-raise tends to win.
