Personally, I lead out on the turn every time. Odds are someone is slowplaying at least top pair with that many callers. Given that you accidentally checked the turn I would make a large check raise on the turn. Betting out or check raising the turn should get all the money in against most players with top 2 on a drawing board like that.

This is a huge hole in your game. NEVER EVER use the auto buttons. They give away to much info to the other players. You should always pause a few seconds regardless of your action.

Not using to auto buttons also will minimize mistakes like this hand.

Instant call here. The flop is checked which at these low levels many ABC players play the trap game (which i don't necessarily agree with on this board due to the draw potentials)

The turn the bet and call signifies for me someone obviously has a K and someone else has a draw, but then figure out the holdings, AJ?, probably re-raise preflop, another set same thing, J9?? they are calling a 1.50 for a gutshot....

But like other people have said you have to make your move on the turn which would kill gut shot action and KQ follows you all the way. Your hand is disguised and it is one of those 2 outer miracles Merry Christmas....

LOL. I missed that, too funny, I thought the question was call or raise... This is beyond weak tight, it's just bad... bet/raise turn, and I probably raise river for value as well. MUBS...sheesh.

with a bet and a raise action before me, i just though i'm beat here.
i didn't call, because first bettor may repop again, if he has real hand there.
i'm just suprise that the second guy raise with two pair on that board.....
i have been loosing alot with set, or losing value with river crying call with a set. my set used to be able to holdup 85% of the time at SD (70K sample size), but now my set only holdup 69% of the time at SD (90K sample size).
this just to give you an idea, why i'm so weak tight with a set on that board.

Try this ...
Don't give free cards with a set. Ever.
Never check call fold a set. Ever.

Drop down in stakes to where the cash is insignificant say .01/.02
Play raise or fold.
Never call..

Calling is fine in the right situations...this isn't 2+2 where mindless aggression is the standard.

But yes, playing passively in this specific situation, doesn't make much sense to me.
