It's always been that much. You buy in for $10,000 and get $10,000 of tournament chips.

All WSOP tournament chips = buy-in.

Hmmm, doesn't leave much to play with on the 1K or 1.5K buyin.
Are the levels 1 hour or 30 minutes?
Star @ 25/25 or 25/50?

1 hour levels, start 25/25. I forget exactly where it goes from there, but I remember feeling last year that the blinds weren't that oppressive. Maybe that's because I busted out before I had to worry about it.

Did some more digging and found this:

Quote:
Last year for the $1500 event(and I think most if not all events) the blinds went like this:
L1 25 25
L2 25 50
L3 50 100
L4 100 200
L5 100 200 25 ante
L6 150 300 50 ante
From the pokerpages.com forum. They failed to mention that levels are 1 hour each, but I can remember that much.

oh thats not so bad then. They just skip the 75/150 but make up for it with the 25/25 and the 150/300 rarely seen online now. Thanks!
