Planning on hosting a 24 player tournament currently scheduled for Sept 18 2010 starting at 1pm SHARP! Buyin: $60 Location: Brampton Ontario (address to be sent out 3 days prior to game) Maximum Players: 24 Starting Stack: 10,000 Payouts: Top 4 50/25/15/10 based on full capacity; Top 3 50/30/20 based on 18 or less players Blinds: To be posted in near future Blind Time: 25min/level 100% of pool paid out...NO RAKE!
I'll try to host a monthly tournament, so if this game is successful, I'll have more in the future.
This will be a self dealt rotating deal with two decks on each table. That way you get maximum amount of play during blinds. This is a FREEZEOUT tournament, no rebuys or addons, however, if a waiting list is created, those on the waiting list will be permitted to play after the first few bustouts during the first three levels. After level three, no further players will be permitted to join the tournament.
Final table will be 10 handed, regardless of how many per table at the start of the tournament. Final table may have a dealer using two decks if requested by all players.
Cash game will be started once enough people are out of the tournament and wish to play. Blinds will be either $.50/$1 or $1/$2, whichever players decide. This will be self dealt with one deck, and Casino Aztar Chips will be in play.  Players may show to only play cash if requested in advance.
Weather permitting, we MAY play outside in the yard until dark, then move back inside. Cash table will likely be outside on deck weather permitting.
BYOB, BYOSmokes. Host will supply softdrinks and snacks. Dinner break, if necessary, will be 30min long, however may be extended or shortened based on decision of players. Cash game will go on for as long as host can stay awake! Normal Ching Hill rules will apply.
I'll post the blinds in a couple of days...want to decide if antes will be in play or not...chances are they will be.

hmmm..., really tempting..., might come out of hiding for this..., the "new" chips alone might do the trick...,
but, as always, gotta inform da wife so I'll keep ya posted.
