Sign-ups for free group lesson w/ Herschelw

As Graham posted previously we've been planning to offer a free group lesson for Pokerforum.ca members. Originally the plan was to run a contest but instead I've decided to just take signups and if necessary I'll run two. You'll need skype(free at Skype official website – free download and free calls and internet calls) and a microphone would be helpful but not a must. The Group lesson I'm going to do is called "Fundamental Mistakes Middle Limit Players Make" and will cover mistake players typically make at in mid-limit mtt's ($10 -$50 buyins). This one seems to get the best feedback and make the most immediate difference in people game.

The lesson is on Monday December 29th at 8pm eastern time.

In order to signup go to:
Poker Pwnage

Make sure to select the lesson for pokerforum.ca when you enter your information.

Feel free to post questions in this thread.

Your skype ID is the username you signed up with. For example mine is herschelw.

    ah thanks.

You can see why I need help with poker if I can't figure out something as simple as Skype.

    I'm in.
  • I have watched the video a few times..definitely worth it!! Especially free...lol
  • Bumped. Assuming this is still happening tomorrow (Monday) and new sign ups still possible.
  • Yep it's still on for tommorow night.
  • OK, I signed up and installed Skype, see you at 8
  • Anyway to archive this to be watched at a later date?
  • How does this work? Do I have to place a call?

Assuming you filled out the registration form, you should just be 'online' on Skype and he will call you (us). I haven't received a call yet (8:08pm). Maybe he's running late?
  • getting started now. Everyone should get a call when we start
  • Looks like he's getting things set up now
  • OK, thanks
  • I was late but i'm logged into skype now
  • How did it go?
  • For anyone who doesn't know, Jerry is a NLHE MTT specialist and so that was the focus of discussion. I suppose that was particularly beneficial to me as that form of poker has been 95% of my game in the last year (although my poker resolution for 2009 is to spend much more time and effort on limit).

I think most who showed have generally solid games. I won't be making any major changes, but Jerry got me to re-consider my play in 1 or 2 specific scenarios - so I'd certainly say it was worth showing up for.

I'll be giving Poker Pwnage's site and sample vids a good look in the next couple of days. I haven't bought a membership yet, but I am interested - which I guess was the point for them.
