Welcome to PokerForum.ca 2.0

I have just finished doing some work on upgrading the forum to the latest version of vbulletin, along with a move to a new look. I felt the old look of the site was becoming very outdated and wanted to give the forum a more modern look.

I will be adding some new plugins over the next few days and still need to convert some pages over, plus make a couple more changes to the layout, but this is basically how the site will look.

Let me know what you think, or if there is something that is broken so I can get it fixed up ASAP.

    Well done!
  • Thanks Johnnie!

Thanks AJ... It is still a shock to me too :D
  • Initially, I thought the domain name was hijacked. Glad to see that isn't the case.

    I kinda like it too.
  • Bright clean... very well done.
  • Personally I am not a fan of fixed-width templates. Not sure how hard it would be for you to convert it to a variable-width one. But yes, it looks fresh. NH sir.
  • Did you include a 50K casino cash bonus to celebrate the new look? 2 hands of blackjack, here I come!
  • Hey, you didn't consult with the mods before the change? lol....

Looks bright, at first I thought it was something for earth day...
  • I'm uncomfortable with change

Well, that would explain the skid marks, then . . .

The problem with doing this on a forum is things will eventually look messed up if you adjust the width too much. I can talk to a coder to see, but I am not sure it will be possible because the header alone is 970 pixels wide.
  • Dam, i thought someone messed with my fav's settings and took me to a different site. Great Job!! Site looks good and sharp.
  • It's good but can you move the advertisement above the menu bar? Also because if you open the Rakeback and Bonus offers, the ad makes everything go squirrely - a whole bunch of stuff, including the ad gets shoved off to the side.

Interesting... I never tested with IE. I'll see what I can do to fix that, but might not be for a day or two. Thanks for the heads up!
  • what the hell Graham!!! I go to Vegas for 5 days, and come back to shiny new site... Vaary NIIICE!!!
