Villain has been limping with some big hands AQs and whatnot from all positions. The initial KQ4 wasn't too bad although I'm slightly worried about KQ. Once he min raises on the turn I should have just given up. Kinda pissed he decides pay off my c-bet with a gutshot straight draw however. No to mention calling off 6 BB's OOP. Although 910s is not a bad hand for most flops (so I can't really fault him for playing it), this is one of those boards that is awful for that hand (so why he is calling flop I have no idea), but he goes ahead and hits his 4 outer anyway. Grr. THis is more of a rant post.

Same guy a few minutes later.

Unbelievable.

And a couple minutes later I bought back in full to try and get my money back off of this fish and of course one one hand I hit a straight on the river and he hit a flush on the river. I didn't go broke because I thought wow I'll bet God hates me enough to give this guy a flush...and...sure enough.....

Why do I play this game???

  • Please tell me you marked him as a buddy so you can find him again later.

If you didn't, you best do that. If I were you, I would be on every single table this guy was on for as long as he was on them too.
  • sounds like you found a good fish to take money from in the future. label him as a buddy and sit at the table with him as much as possible.

damn ;) a second too late.
  • Yeah hands like these against the table fish are extremely frustrating but it's just how it'll be some sessions. On a positive note, I think you played all the hands well, especially the first one, good bet-sizing imo
  • +1 jd.

Oddly Quinner, I've been finding a lot more people willing to chase for gutshots. I hit top two on the flop twice and a set a third time, all three times guys busted me with hitting gutshots on the turn when they had no odds whatsoever to chase. However, that's exactly the call I want because they're not going to hit that very often and have given me a nice piece of their stack for chasing... but it still sucks. lol
