(K/W) The Compound 2022 Event #6 "The Classic" - $20 NLHE Rebuy - Wed, Sept 7th - 7pm

edited September 2022 in Poker Games
Keeping it simple as we head into the final few months of 2022! I'm going to play around with payout structures and base it on the number of Buy-ins / Rebuys, instead of just on the number of players. (Currently listed below, but still playing around with it. Official payouts will be posted before the event starts)

I count only 3. This tournament can comfortably fit 5 Steves so there's still plenty of Steve room.

17 people showed up and generated a total of 35 buy ins for a healthy $700 prize pool. Based on our new formula above that meant a Top 5 payout structure and Shaprio was the unlucky fellow to fell as BUBBLE-BOY. In the end, the Power of Inebriation could not be beat as Pizzle picked up his first win of the Season, defeating Schtebs heads up!

    1st - Pizzle ($315) - 42 points
    2nd - Shtebs ($175) - 30 points
    3rd - King Mob ($105) - 24 points
    4th - Ray ($70) - 21 points
    5th - Beach2002 ($35) - 19 points
    6th - Shapiro (BUBBLE) - 17 points
    7th - Bastien - 16 points
    8th - DrTyore - 15 points
    9th - Zithal
    10th - Dumbfishy
    11th - Captain Optimism
    12th - JJ Grubster
    13th - Moose
    14th - Shankargv
    15th - Thiyagu
    16th - Scuba
    17th - Karthikhlan82

2022 Player of the Year Race - Top 20 (full results)

The race for PoY is closer than ever, with anyone in the Top 15 able to make a run at it with some good finishes! Pizzle jumps right to the 10 spot, while Shtebs makes his way into the Top 10 along side our 2017, 2018 AND 2019 Player of the Year Beach2002, who is making a late run at an improbably 4th year in a row atop the leaderboard! At the moment, though, Zithal is our player to beat with only a few short months an tournaments left!
