Cash Casino Tourny Evaluation
Can anyone give me an evaluation of how this tournament is run? are the blinds pretty good or is it a crapshoot? How are the players? I'm looking specifically at the $25+$5 weekend NL tourny with rebuys.

The Saturday format is pretty good, 20 minute rounds.
Starting stack T1000
$25 rebuys for T1000, must be under T1001
Blinds
25-25

End of rebuys, optional add on $25 for T2000

1000-2000
2000-4000
Prizes are based on # of entries
5 tables = 5 prizes
6=6

The play is fairly loose, with 60-70 players, first prize usually $2000+
Tourney is usually finished by 6 pm
The blinds are fairly fast, but not every tourney can last 10 hours!

I just wanted to thank you for the info on the tourny. I ended up chopping with the top 3 for $1260...and the beauty was I only bought in once, no re-buys!!!!! Well thanks for the tips and I'll see you again in a few weeks.
P.S. I was the young 20 year old guy with the curly hair and the vermont t-shirt.
Many people badmouth rebuy tourneys because they think it takes alot of the skill out at the beginning as compared to a freezeout, and for the most part I agree. However, the great thing about a rebuy tourney is exactly what you did, win 40 times your money for a small investment. Meanwhile there was several players in for 4,5,6 or more rebuys who probably have very little chance of reaching the money. In some ways the rebuy tourney can have a better return for the better players based on investment.
